On October 12, we cut the ribbon on TYLsemi’s new headquarters in San Jose, in the heart of Silicon Valley. Our employees, partners, customers and investors joined us to celebrate.

The new HQ caps a fast first six months. Since founding the company in April, we’ve launched publicly, closed an early-stage funding round, opened an engineering base in Bengaluru and grown to 80 people. With strong customer traction and a growing partner ecosystem, we’re on track for our planned growth in 2026.
“Six months ago we founded TYLsemi with a clear mission: make chiplet-based AI infrastructure practical at scale. Today we have 80 people on two continents, customers putting our chiplets to work and an ecosystem that grows every month. Our new Silicon Valley headquarters puts us side by side with the teams building the next generation of AI systems, and it gives us room to keep growing.” – Sunil Bhardwaj, COO and Co- founder, TYLsemi
Why Silicon Valley is no surprise
AI systems are moving from monolithic chips to multi-die architectures, and that shift is happening fastest right here in Silicon Valley. Many of the hyperscalers, AI-infrastructure builders and custom-silicon teams leading it are based in Silicon Valley. So are many of the system architects, foundry, packaging and IP partners who turn a chiplet into real, deployable silicon.
We’ve always said we want to work as an extension of our customers’ teams. That’s much easier when you share a time zone, a whiteboard and, now and then, a coffee. San Jose puts us in the same room as the architects integrating TYLsemi chiplets into their designs and helps us keep pace with their timelines.
Our new HQ also gives us a base to keep growing our US footprint. We’re hiring in silicon design, applications engineering and customer-facing roles. Those who join our US team will work directly with customers and partners from day one. See open roles.
Ecosystem: growing, with more to come
Chiplets only work when the whole ecosystem works together. Since April, we’ve deepened our relationships across foundry, packaging and IP, all aligned around open standards like UCIe, PCIe and Ethernet. We’ll have more to share about our ecosystem soon, so stay tuned.
People: 80 and counting
In six months, we’ve grown to 80 people across two hubs that work as one team. Bengaluru anchors silicon design, packaging and systems engineering. San Jose brings us closer to US customers, partners and investors. Work on customer programs keeps moving across time zones, so progress doesn’t stop when one office logs off.
Our founders have delivered 30+ tapeouts with first-pass success using global teams, and we’re building TYLsemi on that same people-first model.
Supply chain: building for scale
Production-ready chiplets need a production-ready supply chain. We’re building on our founders’ 15+ year relationship with industry leading foundries and close alignment with outsourced assembly and test (OSAT) partners to lay the groundwork for a global supply chain. The goal is qualified and production ready silicon delivered at volume. We’ll share more as it comes together.
A look inside
We designed the space around how we like to work: side by side with customers and partners. How we work with people matters as much as the silicon we deliver. Our new headquarters was planned with that in mind.
What’s next
The ribbon is cut, and now the work continues. With teams in San Jose and Bengaluru, we’re focused on getting production-ready chiplets into customers’ hands. That includes TYL.IO™ for high-speed connectivity, TYL.Power™ for in-package power delivery and TYL.Mem™ with versatile memory connectivity, all target for XPUs. And continued custom silicon development with our TYL.Forge ™ platform.
We’re also growing the team. If you want to make chiplet-based AI infrastructure practical at scale, we’d love to meet you. See open roles.
If you’re in the Bay Area and building AI silicon, come say hello. Our door in San Jose is open.
Thank you again to everyone who celebrated with us. We’re just getting started!
